Helen de Vanny - Heart Quilt
Thank you so much for the Heart Quilt I received last month. I was speechless and overwhelmed and moved to tears when one of the members of my friendship group visited me bringing the quilt. When I look at the quilt I think of each heart being stitched with love and healing wishes (as well as the stitches to assemble and quilt it). They are like healing hearts! When I put the quilt around me or over me it is like wrapping myself in the love that has been stitched into the quilt. This is such a beautiful and healing feeling I am truly amazed at the power of love to heal! Thanks again for all of your love and wishes as I face the biggest challenge to my health so far.

Ruth Appleton - Ricky & Ruth; Fly Free
I was blown away with Ricky Tim's work and this was my first attempt. All machine pieced and quilted. My second one of Ricky Tim's inspired wall quilts. Loved the dragonfly fabric so stayed with the theme. All machine pieced, appliqued and quilted and hand beaded.

Rivka Waxman - A Christmas Quilt
Designer/Pattern Maker: A Lori Smith Pattern (with my own alterations). What's a nice Jewish girl like me doing making a Christmas Quilt, you may ask? Well, I say why not! It's a celebration of the season and I've yet to find anything religious about stars & holly. We celebrate everything at our place. Once I started the machine quilting I couldn't stop but I'm not at all sure I'll ever use monofilament thread again!!

Cathie Hodge - Babushka Girls
The leader of my 20+ year old group is going back to NZ to live. So, as she loved these dolls we made her a small quilt in two weeks. Made using the Chandler's Cottage pattern.
